Equality should be the most valuable asset to every business. We believe that good equality working practices are at the heart of a fair and equal society, and now we are proud to say our commitment to equality has been accredited by the Committed 2 Equality Register Organisation.

A new Equality Act came into force on 1 October 2010, bringing together over 116 separate pieces of legislation into one. Combined, they provide the legal framework to protect the rights of individuals; simplifying, strengthening and harmonising legislation to provide Britain with forward-thinking discrimination laws – protecting individuals from unfair treatment and promoting a fair and more equal society for all.

The non-profit organisation Committed 2 Equality work towards equal opportunities in the workplace. They have earned the respect and support of leading academics, government leaders, associations and organisations, forging excellent links and strategic alliances in the UK and Europe. Their mission is simple:

“Our vision is for all organisations in the UK, regardless of size, sector or profile to fully embrace good working equality practices and profit from the manifold benefits to be had from employing fairly for their organisation, their employees and the community.”

C2E aim to support and assist businesses with embedding the best equality practices into their organisations; by monitoring their actions as they strive for improvement and ultimately achieving an accredited equality standard.

Equality is important to current and prospective employees, suppliers and customers. We are proud to have achieved this recognised accreditation, and if you would like to know more about us or how your business can apply, please contact us today.
