In December 2015 we had the annual internal audit for the new ISO 9001:2008 certificate which we have passed and are now once again proud owners of the new certification.
A ISO 9001 Certification provides maximum benefit to our organisation since we try to approach ISO 9001 implementation in a practical way. It ensures that the Quality Management Systems that we have adopted is working to improve the business.
By adopting an approach that starts out to implement more efficient working practices and focuses on the business objectives of the organisation, we have established a system that helps and supports our staff. We have also improved your levels of customer satisfaction.
But what is ISO9001?
The ISO 9000 family of quality management systems standards is designed to help organisations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and other stakeholders, such as suppliers and employee while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related to a product. ISO 9000 deals with the fundamentals of quality management systems, including the eight management principles upon which the family of standards is based.
ISO 9001 deals with the requirements that organisations wishing to meet the standard must fulfill.
Third-party certification bodies, such as QAS international, provide independent confirmation that organisations meet the requirements of ISO 9001. Over one million organisations worldwide are independently certified, making ISO 9001 one of the most widely used management tools in the world today.
