One of the virtues of The Ramp People is that we always try to improve our products and create new ones based on the requirements/feedbacks from our customers.
The ramp most requested and missing in our range was a ramp only for loading empty electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters into the back of a van or vehicle.
But we have been eager to produce and test this new ramp and the result is:
They are available now and we have received a big shipment of them this week.
With a capacity of up to 300kg per pair they are able to hold nearly every general mobility scooter.
The length is 2200mm or just about 7.2 Ft. which allows a max. load height for loading only from 660mm. This height covers nearly every vehicle and van.
The angled design of this ramp improves the ground clearance and they are also build with outer edges to prevent wheeling of during loading.
With a weight of 8kg per ramp this is a real lightweight product and the anti-slip black grip surface makes it easy for the scooter to be loaded. As those ramps are foldable they should fit next to the scooter in every boot.
The Ramp People’s scooter ramp is therefore a real improvement of our existing range and we have received so far only positive feedback on them.
