For larger items, remote locations, or specialist deliveries, we work with trusted couriers to ensure safe and secure delivery. These orders may take a little longer, typically arriving within 5–10 working days.

Where we deliver free of charge...

We offer free delivery on all orders to Mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland. Every order is fully trackable, and you’ll receive a tracking link once your item ships from our UK warehouse.

For other UK locations - including Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, the Highlands, Islands, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands - delivery charges are shown at checkout once your address is entered.

While free delivery is available to most of the UK, some locations may incur a charge. We work hard to keep these costs as low as possible, ensuring you receive reliable and great-value delivery wherever you are.

You can also view them in the table below. For orders to the Channel Isles, VAT on delivery charges will be removed at the checkout.

Delivery time frames

Our deliveries usually take place between 7:00am and 7:00pm, and someone will need to be there to sign for the order. Most next day delivery orders placed before 3:00pm arrive the following working day; however, while we always aim to meet this timeframe, it cannot be guaranteed. If you need something urgently, contact us at: [email protected] - We’re dedicated to ensuring you’re completely satisfied with both our products and service.

If your order is going out on a pallet, the cut-off time might be a little earlier (usually midday) because of courier collection times. Give us a call or email to double check. Please also make sure someone’s available to receive the delivery, as missed pallet deliveries can lead to extra charges.

Item incorrect or damaged on arrival

We take pride in our service. If something arrives incorrectly or damaged, we’re here to put it right. Before signing for your delivery, please ensure you're happy with the condition of your item. If there’s a problem, contact us right away at 01372 569051. For damaged goods, please email a photo to [email protected] so we can sort things quickly. We’ll verify your order and arrange prompt delivery of the correct item, along with collection of the original if needed. Refunds or replacements will be processed once we’ve received and checked the returned items.

Faulty items

If your item is faulty or develops a fault, we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue efficiently. Please refer to our warranty terms in our Terms & Conditions for full details. If the fault is confirmed and the item is within warranty, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement. If you need a quick replacement, we recommend placing a new order - your refund will follow once the faulty item is returned and assessed.

How to return your item

As the customers, you are responsible for arranging the return of any items to us. You are welcome to use a courier service of your choice; many of our customers find comparison websites such as Parcel2Go helpful for finding competitive delivery rates. We recommend choosing a tracked service for peace of mind and retaining proof of delivery until your return has been fully processed. Unwanted items should be sent back to our address marked 'Returns Department'.

Please download, print and return our completed returns form below and return this along with your item. If you do not have access to a printer, you can simply write the required details out from the form on a piece of paper.

The modular metal steps are commonly used to provide access to raised modular buildings, portable buildings, and temporary buildings, including construction site offices, at events, festivals, prefabricated cabins, modular classrooms, pop-up buildings, stages, trailer-mounted buildings, modular toilet blocks, gardens, decking areas, basements and similar.

3 width options, choose from 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm wide steps to suit your access requirements.
Freestanding design with fixing points to secure the steps to the ground and wall for added stability (fixings not included).
Designed for indoor or outdoor use; can be left outside.
High-traction surface for enhanced grip underfoot.
Drainage holes allow rainwater to quickly pass through, preventing water pooling.

The Freestanding Steel Steps are designed to provide a stable and secure access solution without requiring ground fixings in most applications. We recommend carrying out a site-specific risk assessment based on the installation location and intended use to determine whether additional securing is appropriate. For areas with high foot traffic and use in public areas, we generally recommend securing the steps in place for additional stability and peace of mind.

Can additional parts be purchased at a later date to create alternative heights?

Yes, as the steps are modular if at a later date you wish to create a higher or lower height we can supply additional parts to allow you to do this without having to purchase a full kit.

What fixings and tools are required to put the Metal Step together?

The steps are simple to assemble and are provided with the required bolts and nuts. To assemble, you will need an adjustable spanner and an 18 mm socket (not provided).

What is the difference between the Modular Steel Steps and Freestanding Steel Access Steps?

The Modular Steel Steps are designed to be secured to the ground and building floor when in use. They are available in a wider range of height configurations, with options of up to 8 steps, making them suitable for accessing a variety of raised modular and temporary buildings. The Freestanding Steel Access Steps feature an outer support frame, allowing them to stand independently. They can be used freestanding or secured to the ground. They are only available in 2, 3 and 4-tread options.
