What is a Threshold Mini Ramp?

A Threshold Mini Ramp is a modular access ramp designed to allow wheelchairs, mobility scooters and those using walking aids to safely overcome lower heights such as thresholds and doorways. The unique modular design allows the kits to be created in a layout which is suitable for your property, whether you need a straight access ramp or require a ramp with a platform to allow you to take a left or right turn when leaving the property.

What is the minimum and maximum height the Threshold Mini Ramps are designed for?

The Mini Ramps are designed for a minimum height of 38mm and a maximum height of 160mm.

Are the Threshold Mini Ramp suitable for outdoor use?

Yes, the Threshold Mini Ramps are generally used outdoors and normally left in place.

What is the benefit of purchasing a ramp with a platform?

The platform provides users with a safe place to sit whilst opening or closing the doorway, in turn making access easy. The platform also allows users to take a left or right turn prior to proceeding down the ramp, perfect in areas where a straight ramp is not possible due to space limitations.

I am interested in the Mini Ramp however my height is higher than 160mm, what are my options?

For higher height, if you require a platform a Modular Wheelchair Ramp Kit is often recommended. If you simply require a straight ramp we can offer a Wheelchair Ramp Kit with Handrails or our Adjustable Threshold Ramp. Please contact our team so we can discuss your requirements and provide alternative solutions.

Mini Ramp for Door Thresholds

The Mini Ramp is perfect for limited spaces with small height differences. The modular threshold ramps are a popular choice where there is not space for a straight ramp, for example due to a wall or road, or where users which to come out of the property and wish to take a left or right turn. With the Mini ramp, you can have a turning platform outside of your home or business to allow you to take a left or right turn prior to going down the ramp.

Semi-permanent Access Ramp - Easy to Install

The Mini ramp, also known as a modular threshold ramp, is used as a so-called ground attachment to our modular ramp system. By combining these products, you can reach an excellent entrance solution that can quickly be created with the minimum of time for project planning and fitting. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the modular system is designed to to be left outside on a semi-permanent basis meaning you can remove the ramp when required, for example if you need to have building works undertaken or when you move property.

Custom Thresholds Ramps - Designed for Your Property

The ramp modules are constructed to be usable in various layouts to meet your needs, please contact our team with your requirements so we can provide recommendations and a quote. The lowest usable height (build height) is 38mm. With a standard leg kit, fitting can be carried out up to a height of 160mm. An alternative fitting method is to hook the upper end of the ramp onto two screws which are fixed in the side of the threshold.
