Are mobility aids available on the NHS?

If the item you need isn’t provided by the NHS and you require funding, there are various charities and specialist services that can offer support. If you choose to purchase mobility aids privately, you may be eligible to buy them VAT-free if you qualify for an exemption.

Can I claim VAT relief on mobility aids?

Yes, all of our mobility aids qualify for VAT relief. VAT relief is available to those in the UK with a disability and registered charities. When you add an item to your basket simply enter your details in the VAT exemption box to remove the VAT from your purchase.
