Half Steps with Handrails
Half steps are perfect for providing support to those with limited mobility to overcome steps, doorways and thresholds. As well as our standard half steps, we offer a range of half steps with handrails for additional support. The half steps are available in three sizes making them suitable for a range of mobility aids including walkers, rollators and walking sticks. The outdoor half steps adjustable to allow you to adjust the heights to meet your doorway. Perfect for indoor or outdoor use, these anti-slip steps with rails can be secured to the ground with only a few fixings.
Half steps can easily be positioned in front of the doorway to reduce the step height for those with limited mobility. Half steps can be used for assistance and support and can also assist to improve confidence for those who have recently come out of hospital or a care home.
The Half Steps with Handrails are available in three sizes: standard, large or extra large.
The standard half steps are designed for those walking or using walking sticks. For walking frames the large or extra large step is recommended. For those using a rollator on the half step, an extra large step is recommended.
For higher heights you can purchase a Double Half Step with Handrail. The combination kit allows the sets to be set at heights up to 200mm.
