Transport With our Yard Ramps being over eleven meters long customers often think that there must be a hidden delivery charge that we do not list on our website. These are also not something you can employ a local courier service to deliver. Thanks to long term cooperation with a haulage firm our factory can offer free delivery on a dedicated vehicle to any mainland UK business address as well as very cheap rates to other areas of the UK & internationally. Due to well-planned dimensions our yard ramps will fit into a side-curtained truck or shipping container quite snugly. Multiple units can be stacked up to five units high to save on shipping costs if purchasing more than one ramp. Loading & unloading are made a painless procedure as two small forklifts (or one large one) can swiftly & safely pick up a fully assembled unit. Handrails Our Yard Ramps range are made with only the finest steel and come complete with Hydraulic Pump & handle, 360-Swivel Fork Clamp Attachment & security chains. Although they come fully equip with everything you need to get started, safety of operators should always be first and foremost when using heavy machinery. That is why for 2017 a new optional extra is now available to further improve safety & versatility of this product range. Full length handrails which can bolted to the single piece steel side profiles make for a much safer working environment if pedestrians & pallet trucks are being used on the ramp. We do recommend that these are mounted by our factory technicians before the ramp is dispatched as they are a single piece construction but they can be added at a later date by the end user should they decide that they are required. Running the full length of the platform & inclined section these handrails are made of the same superior quality steel as the main body of the ramp offering peace of mind for anyone operating on or near the product. Also, should a product fall off a heavily loaded pallet they will stop it from falling all the way to ground level 5ft or more below the ramp.
