Ramp Length & Load Height: Folding Van Ramps

Getting this correct is critical and a guide to the correct load height is shown in the product description/table. An easy guide for the correct measurements for a fixed folding van ramp can be found here.

Load Height = this is the vertical measurement from the ground to the deck of the van
For fixed folding van ramps, height (mm) on the folding van ramp tables refers to the height of the ramp when folded = check that there is enough space inside your van for the required ramp

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH ROOM IN THE VAN FOR THE RAMP TO FIT

As a general rule you should observe the following

Up to 450mm load height = 1500mm long ramp
Up to 600mm load height = 2000mm long ramp
Up to 750mm load height = 2500mm long ramp

Going over this gradient can cause accident, injury or death and may invalidate the warranty.

Please note if you are loading items with lower ground clearance you may require a longer ramp. 

Our 2 Part IRV iRamp is manufactured with a mesh surface. The ramps are made from durable material that can easily be installed in the back of your vehicle. They are available in a variety of lengths and to fit a wide range of vehicles.

Please contact our customer service team if tight mesh or a chequered anti-slip surface is needed.

Please note the maximum load height noted is based on a 33% gradient, an 18% gradient is advised for ease of loading.

Item incorrect or damaged on arrival

Upon delivery, please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the product.

We take pride in our service. If something arrives incorrectly or damaged, we’re here to put it right. Before signing for your delivery, please ensure you're happy with the condition of your item. If there’s a problem, contact us right away at 01372 569051. For damaged goods, please email a photo to hello@theramppeople.co.uk so we can sort things quickly. We’ll verify your order and arrange prompt delivery of the correct item, along with collection of the original if needed. Refunds or replacements will be processed once we’ve received and checked the returned items.

Faulty items

If your item is faulty or develops a fault, we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue efficiently. Please refer to our warranty terms in our Terms & Conditions for full details. If the fault is confirmed and the item is within warranty, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement. If you need a quick replacement, we recommend placing a new order - your refund will follow once the faulty item is returned and assessed.

Items that cannot be cancelled or returned

While we aim to be flexible, a few items are non-returnable due to their nature or regulatory requirements.

These include:

• Products marked as “built to order” or customised.
• Personalised items or those made to your specification.

How to return your item

As the customers, you are responsible for arranging the return of any items to us. You are welcome to use a courier service of your choice; many of our customers find comparison websites such as Parcel2Go helpful for finding competitive delivery rates. We recommend choosing a tracked service for peace of mind and retaining proof of delivery until your return has been fully processed. Unwanted items should be sent back to our address marked 'Returns Department'.

Please download, print and return our completed returns form below and return this along with your item. If you do not have access to a printer, you can simply write the required details out from the form on a piece of paper.

Customers are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse as stated in this returns policy. None of these terms or conditions affect your statutory legal rights.

Once the item is returned back to our warehouse, please allow 1-2 working days for the items to be checked. Once the items have been checked and the condition is as agreed, a credit note will be emailed across to you. Once the credit note has been provided, refunds can take up to 7 days.
