Directional Flow Plate
Directional flow plate ramps are designed to slow vehicles and encourage the flow of one-way traffic. Commonly used in car parks, private residential areas and industrial estates, they discourage drivers from exiting or reversing through an entrance.
Built for heavy-duty use, they accommodate all vehicles, from cars to HGVs. These one-way traffic control flow plates are made of steel with a durable chequered plate surface for added strength. Provided with fixings for tarmac and concrete for easy installation.
The plates are easy to install with 4 fixing holes provided per plate and single per inter-lockable end cap to allow this to be easily secured with our universal fixings supplied with these into tarmac or concrete surface. Installation and maintenance details can be found here: Installation Guide

It is important that flow plates are driven over in a straight line, vehicles should not approach or drive over the flow plates at an angle.
Flow plates are not recommended to be used in pedestrian areas. For pedestrian and vehicle traffic we would instead recommend viewing our speed bump kits.
Description
Encourage the flow of one-way traffic and reduce vehicle speeds to 5 mph with the heavy-duty steel Directional Flow Plates. Due to their design, the layout of the ramps can be amended to allow either one continuous ramp or multiple central ramps with end caps.
Flow plates should be used in conjunction with Speed Bumps and Warning Signs. Flow plates should not be installed on or close to a bend, as they should be driven over in a straight line.
Flow plates are not recommended to be used in pedestrian areas. For pedestrian areas, we would instead recommend installing speed bumps.

Product Highlights
Durable, heavy-duty design
Manufactured from steel, the Directional Flow Plates offer a 15,000 kg capacity per axle, making them suitable for cars, vans, and HGVs.

Enhance road safety
When vehicles drive over the Flow Plate in the correct direction, the five spikes (each 20 mm thick) recess into the plate. If a vehicle attempts to drive over the Flow Plate in the wrong direction, the spikes remain upright, acting as a barrier to deter passage.
Built with safety in mind, the steel Flow Plates feature a chequered anti-slip surface, while reflective cat’s eyes ensure the ramp is highly visible in low light.
Create your preferred layout
Install the Flow Plates in the configuration that best suits your road layout by selecting central Flow Plates and end caps (sold in pairs). You can create a continuous line using central sections with a pair of end caps, or configure individual sections as needed.
The end caps are inter-lockable, ensuring a secure connection to the central ramps. For enhanced safety, it is recommended that end caps are placed at the ends of the configuration.
The surface-mounted design allows the Flow Plates to be installed and removed with ease.
