Directional Flow Plate/Tyre Killer
Directional flow plate/tyre killer ramp are designed to slow vehicles and encourage the flow of one-way traffic. Commonly used in car parks, private residential areas and industrial estates, they discourage drivers from exiting through an entrance.
Built for heavy-duty use, they accommodate all vehicles, from cars to HGVs. These surface-mounted flow plate are made of steel with a durable chequered plate surface for added strength. The yellow finish, along with highly reflective red cat's eyes, ensures visibility in all weather conditions. Provided with fixings for tarmac and concrete for easy installation.
Create your preferred layout by selecting the central flow plate and end caps (sold in pairs). You can create a continuous line using only end caps or configure individual sections. For more layout options, click here. Please see more information about the layout here
These flow plates/tyre killer ramps have a dual function, allowing them to act as a speed ramp and to encourage the flow of one way traffic, for example in car park or private roads. Due to the design, the layout of the ramps can be amended to allow you to either have one continuous ramp or various small ramps.
The plates are easy to install with 4 fixing holes provided per plate and single per inter-lockable end cap to allow this to be easily secured with our universal fixings supplied with these into tarmac or concrete surface. Installation and maintenance details can be found here: Installation Guide
