The ramps offer a 1000kg capacity and are perfect for allowing trolleys and pallet trucks to easily overcome kerbs and access containers. Delivery information & receipt of goods

We’re committed to ensuring your order arrives on time and in perfect condition. To help us do that, please check your delivery address is correct on your invoice and let us know right away if anything needs updating. When your order arrives, we recommend signing for it, only if you’re happy with its condition. Your satisfaction is very important to us!

Delivery time frames

Our deliveries usually take place between 9:00am and 6:00pm, and someone will need to be there to sign for the order. Most of our Next Day Delivery orders (placed before 3:00pm) arrive the following working day, but as much as we try, we can’t always guarantee it. If you need something urgently, contact us at: hello@theramppeople.co.uk - We’re dedicated to ensuring you’re completely satisfied with both our products and service.

If your order is going out on a pallet, the cut-off time might be a little earlier (usually midday) because of courier collection times. Give us a call or email to double check. Please also make sure someone’s available to receive the delivery, as missed pallet deliveries can lead to extra charges.

Change of mind, wrong size or unsuitable item

Item incorrect or damaged on arrival

Upon delivery, please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the product.

We take pride in our service. If something arrives incorrectly or damaged, we’re here to put it right. Before signing for your delivery, please ensure you're happy with the condition of your item. If there’s a problem, contact us right away at 01372 569051. For damaged goods, please email a photo to hello@theramppeople.co.uk so we can sort things quickly. We’ll verify your order and arrange prompt delivery of the correct item, along with collection of the original if needed. Refunds or replacements will be processed once we’ve received and checked the returned items.

Faulty items

If your item is faulty or develops a fault, we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue efficiently. Please refer to our warranty terms in our Terms & Conditions for full details. If the fault is confirmed and the item is within warranty, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement. If you need a quick replacement, we recommend placing a new order - your refund will follow once the faulty item is returned and assessed.

Items that cannot be cancelled or returned

While we aim to be flexible, a few items are non-returnable due to their nature or regulatory requirements.

These include:

Products marked as “built to order” or customised.
Personalised items or those made to your specification.

How to return your item

As the customers, you are responsible for arranging the return of any items to us. You are welcome to use a courier service of your choice; many of our customers find comparison websites such as Parcel2Go helpful for finding competitive delivery rates. We recommend choosing a tracked service for peace of mind and retaining proof of delivery until your return has been fully processed. Unwanted items should be sent back to our address marked 'Returns Department'.

Please download, print and return our completed returns form below and return this along with your item. If you do not have access to a printer, you can simply write the required details out from the form on a piece of paper.

Customers are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse as stated in this returns policy. None of these terms or conditions affect your statutory legal rights.

Once your item has been returned to our warehouse, please allow 1–2 working days for inspection. If the item’s condition matches the agreed terms, we will issue a credit note via email. After the credit note has been sent, please allow up to 7 days for the refund to be processed.

Product Questions

I require a pair of customised Aluminium Wedge Ramp, what information do The Ramp People need to prepare a quote?

We will need your load height (vertical height you are going up), details of what you are loading and the maximum weight of the load. If you require a specific size, please also provide your preferred width and length.

I require a wedge ramp, should I purchase an aluminium or rubber solution?

The aluminium wedge ramps are generally a lighter solution and can be customised to your requirements. Aluminium is especially preferable when loading items with small solid wheels, such as pallet trucks, trolleys with caster wheels and cages.

What should I consider when choosing between an Aluminium Wedge Ramp or The Ramp People's Pallet Truck Ramp?

Wedge ramps can only be used at a set height, whilst the Pallet Truck Ramp can be used at various heights. The wedge ramp simply sits against the step so may be preferable if you do not wish for the ramp to rest on your doorway.

Can The Ramp People's Aluminium Wedge Ramp be used to load electric pallet trucks?

These ramps are generally suitable when used within the recommended load height and capacity. As many electric pallet trucks have very low ground clearance, we recommend contacting us first with your load height and the data sheet of your pallet truck so we can confirm suitability or provide a custom solution.

What gradient is the The Ramp People's Aluminium Wedge Ramp built to?

The gradient varies depending on your chosen height. These are built to a minimum of a 1:6 gradient with some heights are built to a 1:10 gradient. Please view the product specifications to view the dimensions of your chosen ramp height.
