This flow plate is designed to be used at speeds of up to 5mph to encourage the traffic to flow in one direction. The plate is supplied with fixings to allow this to easily be bolted into concrete and/or tarmac. The plate should not be used in areas with pedestrian traffic and should be used in conjunction with speed bumps or other traffic calming products. It is important that flow plates are driven over in a straight line, cars should not approach or drive over the flow plates at an angle.
This product is only suitable for cars and light commercial vehicles up to a maximum of 1 ton per axel. TRP Standard flow plates are bolted to the surface using 7 fixing bolts which makes this a good solution for multi-story car parks and areas where excavation is not possible.
Flow plates are not recommended to be used in pedestrian areas. For pedestrian and vehicle traffic we would instead recommend viewing our speed bump kits.

Description
Enhance road safety and reduce congestion by encouraging vehicles to flow in one direction and reduce speeds to 5mph. The smaller flow plates are designed for use in smaller car parks, private roads, residential areas and driveways.
These flow plates are designed for cars and light commercial vehicles only. For heavier vehicles, including HGVs, please instead view the Heavy Duty Flow Plates.
Flow plates should be used in conjunction with Speed Bumps and Warning Signs. Flow plates should not be installed on or close to a bend as they should be driven over in a straight line.
Flow plates are not recommended to be used in pedestrian areas. For pedestrian areas, we would instead recommend installing speed bumps.
