While free delivery is available to most of the UK, some locations may incur a charge. We work hard to keep these costs as low as possible, ensuring you receive reliable and great-value delivery wherever you are.

Delivery information & receipt of goods

We’re committed to ensuring your order arrives on time and in perfect condition. When your order arrives, we recommend signing for it, only if you’re happy with its condition. Your satisfaction is very important to us!

Delivery time frames

Our deliveries usually take place between 9:00am and 6:00pm, and someone will need to be there to sign for the order. Most of our Next Day Delivery orders (placed before 3:00pm) arrive the following working day, but as much as we try, we can’t always guarantee it. If you need something urgently, contact us at: [email protected] - We’re dedicated to ensuring you’re completely satisfied with both our products and service.

If your order is going out on a pallet, the cut-off time might be a little earlier (usually midday) because of courier collection times. Give us a call or email to double check. Please also make sure someone’s available to receive the delivery, as missed pallet deliveries can lead to extra charges.

Item incorrect or damaged on arrival

Upon delivery, please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the product.

We take pride in our service. If something arrives incorrectly or damaged, we’re here to put it right. Before signing for your delivery, please ensure you're happy with the condition of your item. If there’s a problem, contact us right away at 01372 569051. For damaged goods, please email a photo to [email protected] so we can sort things quickly. We’ll verify your order and arrange prompt delivery of the correct item, along with collection of the original if needed. Refunds or replacements will be processed once we’ve received and checked the returned items.

Faulty items

If your item is faulty or develops a fault, we’ll do everything we can to resolve the issue efficiently. Please refer to our warranty terms in our Terms & Conditions for full details. If the fault is confirmed and the item is within warranty, we’ll arrange a repair or replacement. If you need a quick replacement, we recommend placing a new order - your refund will follow once the faulty item is returned and assessed.

Items that cannot be cancelled or returned

While we aim to be flexible, a few items are non-returnable due to their nature or regulatory requirements.

Products marked as “built to order” or customised.
Personalised items or those made to your specification.

How to return your item

As the customers, you are responsible for arranging the return of any items to us. You are welcome to use a courier service of your choice; many of our customers find comparison websites such as Parcel2Go helpful for finding competitive delivery rates. We recommend choosing a tracked service for peace of mind and retaining proof of delivery until your return has been fully processed. Unwanted items should be sent back to our address marked 'Returns Department'.

Please download, print and return our completed returns form below and return this along with your item. If you do not have access to a printer, you can simply write the required details out from the form on a piece of paper.

Customers are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our warehouse as stated in this returns policy. None of these terms or conditions affect your statutory legal rights.

Once your item has been returned to our warehouse, please allow 1–2 working days for inspection. If the item’s condition matches the agreed terms, we will issue a credit note via email. After the credit note has been sent, please allow up to 7 days for the refund to be processed.

The Rubber Threshold Ramps up to 80mm high feature:

The ramps from 4mm - 80mm are designed and built to a 1 in 10 gradient. Ramps from 85mm upwards are built to a 1:8 gradient
Ramps up to 70mm are sold as singles in 1m wide pieces. Ramps from 74mm and above are provided as 2 x 500mm ramps to create a total width of 1m

Description

Safely overcome thresholds, steps and kerbs and load items into sheds, garages and containers with the rubber kerb ramps available in heights from 30mm to 100mm.

The ramps up to 80mm offer a 1:10 gradient, from 85mm upwards the ramps are built to a 1:8 gradient. Ramps up to 70mm are sold as singles in 1m wide pieces; those which are 74mm and above are sold as a pair of ramps (2 x 500mm wide ramps).

Manufactured from 100% recycled rubber, the natural smell of rubber fades after a couple of days in fresh air. To speed the process, wipe the surface with a damp cloth with washing up liquid on.

For higher heights, view the kerb ramps from 114mm - 203mm.

Do The Ramp People provide customised rubber ramps?

We have a wide selection of rubber ramps, and in most cases, we have an in-stock solution to suit your needs. If a ramp is wider than your doorway, you can cut the ramp with a knife or saw to reduce the width.

Can The Ramp People's rubber threshold ramps be secured in place?

As portable ramps they do not require fixings and are designed to simply be put in place. If you do wish to secure the ramp to the floor you can use rubber adhesives.

Are The Ramp People's Rubber Container Ramps suitable for pallet trucks?

For loading pallet trucks an items with small wheels such as cages we would instead suggest viewing our aluminium pallet truck ramps or wedge ramps.

I am interested in the rubber kerb ramp, are the ramps suitable for providing wheelchair access?

Yes due to the smooth gradient these rubber ramps are suitable for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walkers.
